This summer, The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum is offering engaging youth programs designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for history through hands-on learning experiences inside Historic Town Hall.
Road to the Revolution | June 26-27
Designed for students ages 12-15, Road to the Revolution is a two-day educational experience inspired by the American Revolution and the nation’s founding era. As part of the Museum’s America 250 programming, participants will explore colonial America through interactive activities, historical discussions, and creative projects that bring the Revolutionary period to life.
Junior Historian Summer Camp | July 14-18
Created for students ages 9-12, Junior Historian Summer Camp offers a fun and engaging introduction to Boca Raton’s history through games, crafts, exhibits, storytelling, and hands-on museum learning. Campers will explore local history, artifacts, preservation, and community heritage while spending a week discovering the Museum in new and exciting ways.
Both programs encourage young learners to connect with history through exploration, creativity, and interactive experiences.
