A Message from the Executive Director

Welcome to the Boca Raton Historical Society & The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum.

As Boca Raton continues to evolve, preserving and sharing our community’s history becomes more important than ever. The Boca Raton Historical Society is proud to serve as a steward of our city’s heritage, connecting residents and visitors alike to the people, places, and moments that shaped Boca Raton into the vibrant community it is today.

Through exhibitions, educational programming, historic preservation initiatives, research collections, lectures, and community events, we strive to create meaningful experiences that bring history to life and inspire a deeper appreciation for our shared past.

More than a museum, Historic Town Hall is a gathering place — a community within a community — where stories are preserved, conversations are sparked, and generations come together.

Whether you are visiting for the first time, attending a program, exploring our exhibitions, enjoying an event, or supporting our mission as a member or donor, we are grateful to have you as part of our community.

We look forward to welcoming you to the Museum.

With gratitude,

Olivia Hollaus
