Volunteers are the backbone of the Boca Raton Historical Society. Whether you’re a lifelong resident or new to the area, lending your time and talents helps us fulfill our mission of preserving and sharing Boca Raton’s unique history.
Welcome visitors, answer questions, and create a warm first impression at the museum entrance and throughout exhibitions.
Help organize and catalog historical documents, photographs, maps, and artifacts in our growing archive collection.
Assist educators with school group tours, hands-on activities, and interactive programs that bring local history to life for students.
Help coordinate and run our signature fundraisers, galas, heritage walks, and community celebrations throughout the year.
Support the care, condition-checking, and cataloging of the museum's physical collections, artifacts, and rotating exhibits.
Assist with office tasks, newsletter production, social media content, membership outreach, and community partnerships.
