Join the Boca Raton Historical Society for a special Town Hall Talk featuring historical interpreter Rosemarie Law as Mary Katharine Goddard — printer, publisher, postmaster, and Revolutionary patriot.

Goddard holds a fascinating place in American history. In 1777, she printed one of the earliest copies of the Declaration of Independence to include the names of its signers — a bold act at a time when openly supporting independence carried very real risks.

Through this engaging first-person historical interpretation, guests will travel back to Revolutionary America and discover Goddard’s extraordinary story, the world in which she lived, and the important role she played in the fight for American independence.
