We welcomed families from across the community for a festive Free Fun Saturday on July 4, celebrating America’s 250th anniversary with creativity, history, and hands-on fun.
There is nothing more rewarding than seeing Historic Town Hall filled with smiling faces and families discovering Boca Raton’s history together. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special. Thanks to the generous support of JM Family Enterprises, we are able to continue offering Free Fun Saturdays and welcoming families to the museum free of charge on the first Saturday of every month.

Throughout the day, children and families enjoyed patriotic-themed crafts, face painting, explored our exhibitions, and discovered the stories that shaped our nation and our community. It was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate Independence Day while making lasting memories in Historic Town Hall.

Free Fun Saturdays continue throughout the year with new themes and activities inspired by our exhibitions and special events. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, there’s always something new to discover at The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum.

We look forward to welcoming you back for our next Free Fun Saturday on August 1! To RSVP, please click here.
