For three decades, the Walk of Recognition, founded by Marta Batmasian, has honored individuals whose leadership, service, vision, and generosity have made a lasting impact on Boca Raton and enriched the lives of its residents.
As we celebrate the Walk of Recognition’s 30th anniversary, the Boca Raton Historical Society is pleased to announce that nominations for the 2026 Walk of Recognition are now open.
The community is invited to nominate individuals who have demonstrated a significant and sustained commitment to Boca Raton and whose contributions extend above and beyond the responsibilities of their profession or career.
Nominees should have made a meaningful and lasting impact on our community through their dedication and service. Both living and posthumous nominations are accepted.
Nominations will be accepted August 13 through September 15, 2026.
The 2026 honorees will join a distinguished legacy of individuals who, over the past 30 years, have helped shape the character, growth, and quality of life of Boca Raton.
The 30th Anniversary Walk of Recognition Celebration will take place November 4, 2026, at The Addison.
Since its inception, the Batmasian Family Foundation has generously underwritten the Walk of Recognition including this year’s 30th anniversary event.
