We were delighted to welcome Leadership Boca to The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum as part of their recent Cultural Day, which included visits to several of Boca Raton’s arts and cultural organizations.
Their stop at the Museum provided a wonderful opportunity to share the important role local history plays in building a strong and connected community. Executive Director Olivia Hollaus gave a short presentation highlighting the Boca Raton Historical Society’s mission, the museum’s impact, and the many ways we work to preserve and share the stories that have shaped our city.
Participants also had the chance to explore the museum and learn more about Boca Raton’s evolution from a small agricultural community into the vibrant city we know today.
Leadership Boca brings together professionals from across the community who are committed to civic engagement and leadership. We were honored to be included in their day and grateful for the opportunity to introduce this year’s class to Boca Raton’s rich history.
