At the Boca Raton Historical Society’s Annual Meeting, we celebrated an important leadership transition as Denise Alman officially passed the baton to Jesse Cordoba, who now begins his term as President of the Board of Trustees.
Denise’s tenure as Board President was marked by thoughtful leadership during a pivotal period for the organization. She helped guide the Boca Raton Historical Society through a time of transition, providing steady leadership and support while ensuring the organization remained focused on its mission and continued momentum. Her dedication, professionalism, and commitment to the Society have left a lasting impact.
As we look ahead, we are excited to welcome Jesse into his new role. Having served as Treasurer of the Board of Trustees for more than three years, Jesse brings valuable institutional knowledge, financial stewardship, and a deep commitment to preserving and sharing Boca Raton’s history.
His leadership comes at an exciting time for the organization as the Boca Raton Historical Society continues to expand its educational programs, exhibitions, community partnerships, and preservation initiatives.
We also welcome Board Member John Gerson as the new Treasurer.
Leadership transitions are an important part of every nonprofit’s story, and we are grateful for the dedicated volunteers who help ensure the Society’s continued success. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Denise Alman for her service and leadership and warmly welcome Jesse Cordoba as he begins this new chapter.
