ABOUT BOCA HISTORY

Founded in 1972, the Boca Raton Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich heritage of our community. Housed within Historic Town Hall, The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum brings Boca Raton’s history to life through exhibitions, educational programming, research collections, and historic preservation initiatives — serving as a gathering place where Boca Raton’s stories, people, and history come together.

From restoring Historic Town Hall and the FEC Railway Station to helping preserve landmarks such as The Addison and advocating for the protection of historic homes and neighborhoods, we are committed to safeguarding Boca Raton’s architectural and cultural legacy for future generations.
